For Our Heroes is located in, Posen, a very small village in Northern Michigan.  The area was first settled by Polish Immigrants nearly 200 years ago to log trees for lumber.  After the trees were processed, five (5) large families decided to stay, buy the land and become farmers.  Their major crop was potatoes. 

Generations later, the Village of Posen was founded and the area become well known for Potato Farms, the Annual Posen Potato Festival and their deep Polish Heritage.

Some Facts:

        - Greater than 80% of the area is of Polish decent.
        - The area is very patriotic and loves their Country. They still honor their roots.
        - Local wooden American Flag sales massively dominates wooden Polish Flag Sales

For Our Heroes recognizes the Polish Heritage of the surrounding region, their hard work and dedication to developing the area and for their love of their home, and Country, the United States.
